  • The deadline to register for the March 3, 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Primary is February 10th.
  • The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail for the March 3rd Democratic Party Presidential Primary Election is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25th. Due to mail delivery, we recommend you request you submit your absentee ballot application as soon as possible and not wait until the deadline.
  • In addition to our regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Norfolk Office of Elections will be open on Saturday, February 29th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for in person absentee voting.
  • The deadline to vote an absentee ballot in person for the March 3rd Democratic Party Presidential Primary is 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 29th.

We will be honoring three Community Champions – Attorney Eric Moody, City Council woman, Dr. Ella Ward & Senator Lionell Spruill.
